Who We Are
Our Story
Howdy! We’re Matt and Mary, owners of Hawk Van Lines, LLC, which is named after the greatest love of our lives: our energetic, constantly exploring and joy-filled son. We’re based in Austin with Hawk and our beloved pup, Scout.
Matt is a USMC Veteran and current firefighter in Austin. Originally from Richmond, VA, he’s a two-time Texas Tech graduate for both his undergraduate and Master of Public Administration degrees.
Mary was a communications executive in the nonprofit, agency and corporate worlds before transitioning to Hawk Vans full-time. She grew up moving every few years and then landed at Wellesley College in Boston; she also completed her M.S. at Columbia University. Mary sits on the boards of Kapadia Education Foundation and Texas Farmers Market.
We launched Hawk Vans in August 2022 with a passion for offering a beautiful product and honest, friendly customer service that can’t be beat. We can’t wait to help make your trip memorable.

Our guests pick-up and return the vans to our South Austin, Round Rock or Arlington, TX locations. We do offer custom deliveries and one-way drives within and outside of Austin, but these are subject to availability and additional fees do apply. Please note that we do not offer chauffeur services at this time.
